The movie was also nominated in these categories: Best editing, production design, make-up, sound supporting actor (Brandenburg), and won for best special effects. My commentsTo my amateur eyes, the pictures in Dykkerne fall in five categories:The luminous summer pictures - whether by day or by night. The golden pictures, mostly interiors, both day and night. The cold pictures, mainly of the bad guys and in their boat. The underwater pictures - including SFX. The rest. I am usually not a fan of films that have too many scenes taking place in the dark - but somehow I don't have a problem with this movie. Due to the "almost midnight sun", the exteriors at night are stil quite detailed, and underwater is as it should be. |
