Hi again - Using brilliant deduction skills (heh), I found Eetle's site where Tony's note is located. Thank goodness she was using Geocities.
Plug "Reocities" into her url in lieu of "Geocities", and it pops up, good as new.

Thanks - I'll give it a try.

It was the "Lost in Yonkers" play in Jupiter. Would have been a drive to get there, but I'm sure it would have been worth it.

I see from his FB fan page (run by yourself as well?) that he's in The Lion King musical. Kudos for him getting cast in such a neat production. Haven't seen it yet myself, but if it heads back down to FL I will. :)

Nope - the Facebook page is run by Tony himself.
I'd love to see Tony in Lion King too, but a trip to North America is not in the books right now.

Hi there - Looks like I missed out on the opportunity to watch Tony in a play here in FL (argh!). Any news on whether he's still in theatre, or has taken up work on tv or movies again? Thanks much! (Oh, and the Vieux Carre site moved to "reocities" when Geocities sites were discontinued - might want to update that link if it the defunct one).

ARGH indeed! Bummer!
What play was it?

Link fixed, thanks for the heads up.
Judging by his IMDB listing, he's still mainly doing theater.

Sorry I missed the NJ Paper Mill Playhouse production of Lost in Yonkers this season.

Thanks for a wonderful site. Just watched both seasons of TBE - thank goodness for NetFlix! - and I'm hooked.
Here's hoping Tony finds a new show so we can gaze into those gorgeous eyes every week!!

A new show with Tony would be great - but it looks like he's mainly doing theater and photography these days.

Yes, isn't it great?
I posted it on the news page a couple of days ago - I got the heads up from TVShowsOnDVD where I had signed up for an alert.
I really look forward to replacing my fuzzy old tapes with crisp - or at least crisper - DVDs.

Jennifer
That was great news about the dvd release for this summer (I hope it happens on time). I got two heads up emails from separate folks this week on the release, and appreciated that so much. (Had a cold.it made me feel a bit better.)

It's a shame that many shows (with a decent sized fanbase) in the 80's and 90's didn't get released to tape or dvd when they ended. I was a huge fan of another show that aired in the late 80's, and it didn't get distributed on dvd until 2 or 3 years ago. Fans were thrilled, but slightly frustrated that they had to wait that long.

Have you checked whether they were released outside teh US? F/X the Series has so far only been released in the UK, and Crow: Stairway to Heaven was released in Japan and Europe quite a while before the US release.
Also I figure they release the first season, and if not enough buy it, we never get more. That looks like what happened to The Commish.

Replying to Madam Webmaster, I have a few friends from the New Orleans area, and they do sound similar (not dead on) in terms of accent, when I compare them to TBE. But whether or not it was a good accent is still up to interpretation.

In any case, there are a few clips out on Youtube from the show. Just look up "The Big Easy", and three should come up in a search (not all together, unfortunately). The "Begirled" one is pretty good, even at a mere 10 minute clip.

I know of some New Orleanians who thought the series was completely fake.
Like CSI: Miami is realistic ... not!

Thanks for the heads up - I never thought to check youtube for clips.
