I've admired Chris's acting for years. He was a good actor on stage and the theatre is the worse off without him and others like him but I guess it doesn't bring in the bucks like TV does . His success on TV and in some movies is well-deserved but personally, I don't want to watch him waste his talent in programmes like "Sanctuary" and now, "Supernatural", which has to be some of the worst garbage ever made. It's not art, it's not good film-making, it's not good writing, it's not even culturally enriching, so why is he doing it? Chris - take a break, get back to the stage and show us how you can really act and make us feel good by allowing us to watch a quality actor doing quality material.

I wish you the best, man.

Matt.

I've never had the luck seeing Chris on stage since I don't live in Canada, so if he had done only stagework, this website would not exist.
Why is he doing it? I guess he likes to eat ;-)
Plus no matter what you think of his TV work, that's what most of his fans know and enjoy.
For your sake I hope he'll be back on stage - but also that he'll keep on doing TV.

hi,

Let me start off by saying what a really neat site! Kudos to webmaster!

I've been looking for the Kamataki movie online. Been trying to look for a torrent of it and a streaming video. It's very difficult to find, does any one know where to find it?

Thank you :-)

I never found a torrent, so in the end I bought the DVD - I think from Canadian Amazon. Unfortunately it looks like it's sold out :-(

But I can tell you Chris' role is very small.

Dear Webmaster,

I'm in the middle of setting up a social networking site for Christopher Heyerdahl fans

This site won't be your typical fan site because the way it's setup the fans will be ones that will maintain the site.

It's bit hard to explain. But once the site is completed it would run very similar to how I have the Dominic Purcell Community site.

I was wondering if you would like to be interested in becoming my partner in helping to maintain this social networking site. I would make you a co-admin. What you think of this idea?

I was trying to add the url address to my message but it told it wasn't allowed.

christopherheyerdahl-dot-ning-dot-com
dominicpurcell-dot-ning-dot-com
dominicpurcell-dot-net
So replace -dot- with . and the site should come up

Hi Mary,

It looks really great, but I'm already posting my Chris Heyerdahl stuff here and I'm afraid I don't have time for a forum/social networking site.

I will add your site on my link page.

Good luck!

I recently had the honour of hosting Christopher while he visited my regiment (2nd Battalion Royal Welsh) base in Tidworth UK. He spent the morning meeting and greeting some of our soldier’s wives and signing photos.
The afternoon was spent doing soldier things playing with weapons and driving around in a Warrior armoured fighting vehicle. The day ended with dinner in our Officers Mess.
I hope he enjoyed his day with us as much as we enjoyed our day with him. He was up for everything we threw at him. A really realy nice gentleman.
I have a number of Photos taken during the day and would be happy to post then here on this site (if I knew how)

Please contact me and I will be happy to forward them to be posted

All the best

Steven

Wow, what a wonderful actor. Well, with that incredible voice, he can draw me into any character.

It's definitely not his current hair-do that's the attraction ;-)

Dear Mr. Heyerdahl,

I'm a regular poster at the WDC (wraith defenders club)--hey everyone's gotta have a defender, even the wraith right! lol
I'm also a high school drama teacher in Toronto. From time to time, I post on Joe Mallozzi's weblog as well. Would you be open to doing a Q&A session on his blog? It seems that it is becoming quite desirable for artists to have more control over who they have exposure with i.e. which fans he/she wants to engage with, in what capacity they would like to engage these fans and in the format type for an interview.
I know that we (at the WDC) would love, love, love to ask you about your role as Todd. And I truly think you'd enjoy the Q & A session, because the questions would certainly be heartfelt and though provoking. You would also choose which questions you wanted to answer before hand, which is always nice!
Often times it seems that magazine interviews, or "official" interviews leave the reader uninspired simply because the interviewer had no "real" interest in the person he/she was conversing with to begin with.
Personally, I think you are an inspired talent and I thoroughly enjoy your interpretation of the wraith. We would be ecstatic if you could join us.
I've also posted this request at Joseph Mallozzi's blog.
Take care, and thank you for a wonderful performance.

Dear WK -

Unfortunately this fan site does not have any contact with Mr. Heyerdahl - but who knows - maybe he checks out the site now and then?

I think Joe invites his guest himself, so it probably is best to post on his blog - just like you already did.

And I think I need to add more wraith links ;-)

Even though he often doesn't play familiar or welcoming roles ;-)

I'm a huge fan of Christopher Heyerdahl, I hope to see him in many more roles to come. Todd the Wraith is what sparked my interest (he is my favourite Stargate Atlantis character), after that I looked up his filmography on the net and have been making my way through all of Christopher's appearances in movies/shows! If he should ever read this, I hope he can see that he has many fans, from all over the world, who love him dearly!!! PS: If you ever come to Australia make sure you visit it's capital ; ) Canberra.

Todd even has a MySpace site!
When hunting movies, it's always good to have a multi-region DVD player ...
