Yes, he was lightly used in "New Moon" but he looked suitably tired of his vampiric existence without a mate and was playing it with passion and style. He looks pretty neat in those 18th century-type clothes but the long hair made me wish for Chris to return to his Harley boy look.

At least he had hair - long hair even ;-)

I was thrilled to see Chris in New Moon as Marcus, though I was heartily disappointed that he was so lightly used. He's a fun actor to watch perform, and he was almost barely there.

They do have a lot of story to squeeze into a short time, so I won't expect too much. But still, it'll be cool to see Chris on the big screen, and his name is definitely getting out there.

I had the privilege in meeting Christopher at the recent Melbourne Armageddon Convention. What a Gorgeous Gorgeous man.

There is not much on the Web for this actor. I was amazed to find out that he is that character in Sanctuary! I reallly like that show! I just finished watching SGA season 5 . and felt they really could have gone at least another season and Todd was an awesome character! I hope he is in the SGA movie! I love him in Sanctuary too! What a versitile actor! I am so disappointed to hear he was at ComicCon . I would suerly have gone if I had known . it was my birthday . what better gift!!!

What a bummer that you missed Chris at ComicCon - but I hope you had a great birthday anyway. Hopefully he'll be back in connection with the Twilight Saga?

The only man who can beat Nikola Tesla in a fight.

I met him at Comic-con and he was incredble nice. I was a fan before and now that I've met him, I'm even more of a fan. It was a pleasure to see that he wasn't sick of meeting his audience. :)

If he does ever read these: Please keep up the excellent work!

Chris is rather new to conventions, so I suspect it's all still fun for him.

You never know - he knows of the site, so perhaps ...

I got to meet Chris at the ComiCon in Chicago (aug 7-9, 2009), and he was really nice. I got a picture with him and he signed one of him as Todd the Wraith.

Yes, Chris is a really nice guy - I wish I could have been there myself.

Was he in any panels, or was it signing only?

Cheers,
Anne

Anne,
Chris plays William Cope in the mini-series P.T. Barnum.

Interesting thing he is not mention in the ending credits of this movie. He does have a small speaking part.

Thanks for the info - yeah - it's strange he's not in listed in the credits when he has lines.

Btw - it's better to send me an email about such details than posting it in the guestbook ;-)

Thank you for such an entertaining expose about Chris Heyerdahl, indisputably one of the best actors on the planet today. Why has he not done more mainstream films instead of wallowing in backwater Canadian films? I know he's not the prettiest of men, but the acting ability alone should enable him to hold the lead in any big production film. Watched him in Requiem for Murder recently, and he shone in that. He is one of my favourite character actors and as Todd, unusually, a real heart throb! LOL check out YouTube if you don't believe me! Sanctuary comes alive when he's on screen. Keep on keeping on Chris, we all love you and want to see you in more films and with less prosthetics maybe? Thank you for the entertainment! Shall look forward to meeting Chris at Haven One this year. Can't wait!

I have no idea why Chris isn't a bigger name.
Perhaps he doesn't play the Hollywood game?
Perhaps he's too tall? Yes, I know of very tall actors losing roles because of their height. Stars of a lesser height might not want a co-star towering over them ...
But that's just me guessing.

Alle sammen i Norge elsker deg Chris!

Chris is my favorite tv actor by far. His voice is both like melted butter and grating industrial steel all at the same time.

Though most of us wish the long haired viking look, we all agree he looks like, 47% more black metal that way. He's a looker all the same though.

Chris does it all - long hair, short hair, no hair, beard, no beard - it's all good.
If he dyed his hair black, he could play Loki from the Danish comic Valhalla.
