Remy McSwain from the Big Easy tv series was portrayed by Tony Crane.
Remy was Cajun on his mother's side, and Irish on his father's.
He had one sibling that we heard of in the series, younger sister Maddie(#1, the pilot).
He was a smooth-talking laidback charmer.
He hung out at the Blue Spot and played the harmonica there sometimes.
As NOLA cops don't make a lot of money, he had a detail (extrajob). In the pilot, he was bodyguard for congressman Laygere, but later he managed his friend Smiley, getting him gigs as a trumpet player.
Remy loooooved his car - a blue Eldorado and lived in the French Quarter - but never seemed to have a problem finding a parking space.
